Covenant University Health Centre
You are welcome to the Covenant University Health Centre. Covenant University Health Centre is strategically located for easy access from all parts of Canaan land including Covenant University.
The facility provides primary and secondary healthcare services to staff and students of the University, and it operates with Thirty Beds spread over three wards.
- A Comfortable patients waiting area,
- Medical Records Office,
- Three Consulting Rooms,
- An adequately equipped operating theatre/Delivery Suite,
- An emergency/treatment Room,
- A well stocked Pharmacy which is open to patients and patrons 24 hours daily.
- A well equipped laboratory which also operates round the clock,
- A standard, well equipped dental suite,
- An optician’s clinic.
Our operations are IT driven to deliver fast and efficient services with excellent, safe, and secure patient’s records and archival system. We also utilize online resources such as Pubmed, Cochrane, Univadis and NICE online (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) for in house training and routine practice.
We are aligned with the Vision of the University which is to “RAISE A NEW GENERATION OF LEADERS”, we believe that this task requires faculty, staff and students are, and remain in a state of physical, mental and emotional Health. In this regards the University Health Centre has a mission to provide a holistic medical package, which is befitting, affordable, and relevant to Covenant University and her environ.
Our Objectives are to give PROMPT and EFFICIENT Medical services to all our patients with waiting time reduced to the barest minimum possible, and the promotion of a healthy living environment, as well as a healthy lifestyle within the University community.
