College of Development Studies
The College of Development Studies is an amalgam of the former Colleges of Business & Social Sciences (CBS) and Human Development (CHD). The two Colleges had operated as separate academic units from 21st October 2002 when the University began its operations until September 2009 when a restructuring exercise gave rise to the present College. The College is strategic to the realization of the overall vision of raising a new generation of leaders, a mandate that berthed the university.

At least a minimum of Five (5) credit level passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any one Science subject selected from this group (Biology, Health Science, Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Physics) obtained in not more than two sittings in the SSCE/NECO/GCE O/L or other equivalents.

Candidates seeking admission into any of the College's programmes must have obtained at least five (5) credit level passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO O/L in not more than two sittings. The five (5) credit passes must include Mathematics, English Language and one science subject selected from this group (Biology Agricultural Science, Health Science, Chemistry and Physics.)
