A research publication by Professor Solomon Oranusi of the Department of Biological Sciences at Covenant University, has received a rave review by the American Chemical Society (ACS), a United States-based scientific society that supports scientific inquiry in the field of chemistry.
Covenant University and QSM, a training and consultancy firm, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a mutually beneficial collaboration between the two organisations.
Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, which took place on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, the Managing Director, QSM Training and Consulting Limited, Mrs. Chinyere Ikeora, said the collaboration with Covenant University will see her company training, empowering, enlightening and educating people.

With a view to introducing DNA extraction laboratory practical in secondary schools across Africa, an Associate Professor of Virology in the Department of Biological Sciences, Covenant University, Dr. Angela Eni has in conjunction with one of her students, Miss Oluwaseunnlafunmi Oke, developed a rapid and inexpensive DNA isolation kit for secondary schools, using locally available materials.
It was a double celebration time for the indigenes and other residents of Feru Village, Iyesi, Ota in Ogun State on Saturday, April 29, 2017, when Covenant University commissioned a borehole it donated to the community and offered free health services to the people.
