CU Management Celebrates Vice-Chancellor’s Birthday

Covenant University’s Management team on Saturday, October 31, 2015 paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charles Ayo, at his residence to felicitate with him on his birthday.

The team led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Taiwo Abioye, took turns to extoll his leadership qualities, thanking God on his behalf for seeing another glorious year in good health.

Professor Abioye noted that the Vice-Chancellor’s leadership style is worthy of emulation. She described him as a disciplined leader who has been able to achieve great feats within the period of his administration.

They presented gifts and prayed that the Vision which the University is running with would be fulfilled in his time.

In his response, Professor Ayo appreciated the good gesture of the members of Management and noted that the achievements recorded by his administration were as a result of their support and contributions. He expressed confidence that they would together achieve the Vision 10:2022.

Also at the brief event were the Registrar, Pastor Olamide Olusegun, Director Financial Services, Pastor Bayo Oladehibo; Director, Centre for Learning Resources, Dr Chris Nkiko; Director, Physical Planning and Development, Pastor Azubuike Nwoke; Chaplain, Pastor Charles Ihekwaba; Director, Centre for Systems and Information Services, Engineer Yinka Adeboye.

Others in attendance were Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, Professor Shalom Chinedu; Dean, College of Business and Social Sciences, Professor Francis Iyoha; Dean, College of Science and Technology, Professor Nicholas Omoregbe; Dean, Students' Affairs, Dr Zacheaus Omogbadegun; Director, Academic Planning Unit, Dr Olawande Daramola; Deputy Director, Media and Corporate Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Igban and Mr Ayo Ajayi, also of Media and Corporate Affairs.
