CU, others Signs Agreement on EstateMaster Software

A three-party agreement on EstateMaster Software programme has been signed between Covenant University,the International Facilities and Property Information Limited (IFPI) and Ayo Abolarinwa and Associates (AAA)

The agreement, which was signed earlier this year, was formally sealed on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Conference room of the Vice-Chancellor of the University.

The tripartite agreement is for the collaboration arrangement of calibration of EstateMaster web-enabled programme for benchmarking cost and quality of facilities services in Nigeria.

Explaining the use of the software, a representative of IFPI, Mr. Ayo Abolarinwa stated that the software was developed based on data obtained in Europe, but needed to be adapted for use in Africa.

The IFPI, according to him required reliable data from Nigeria, which would be representative enough to suffice for other regions of Africa, hence the choice of Covenant University for data gathering.

Responding, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charles Korede Ayo noted that the University expected a robust and rewarding relationship between Covenant and the parties.He appreciated Mr. Abolarinwa for choosing Covenant University as an institution of repute for collaboration.

EstateMaster is an internationally applicable intelligent decision support system for maintaining, planning and controlling the cost involved in the provision of facilities maintenance service in a wide range of site-specific scenarios. Uniquely it makes it possible to benchmark groups of buildings together as well as individual buildings.
