Carnegie Fellow Thanks Covenant for Building Nigeria’s Future

A Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow, Dr. Efosa Idemudia, has at the end of his working visit to Covenant University thanked the University for, according to him, “building the future of Nigeria”, just as he appreciated the University for being a good host.

Speaking when he paid a thank you visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor AAA. Atayero in his office on Monday, July 10, 2017, Dr. Idemudia, an associate professor in the Department of Management and Marketing, Arkansas Tech University, USA, said that he was impressed by what Covenant University is doing.

He said the Master and PhD students of the University demonstrated great passion during his interaction with them, adding that the “beautiful campus” offers a very conducive environment for learning.

The professor of business data analytics had during his stay at the University taught faculty, staff and students ICT-related courses and also visited some public secondary schools in the University community to motivate students and also made monetary donations for the uplifting of the schools.

The Vice-Chancellor, in his remarks, thanked Dr. Idemudia for choosing Covenant University and the Institute of International Education, administrator of the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellows Programme, for giving the University quality Fellows. Professor Atayero said that it was a great privilege having Dr. Idemudia and urged him to maintain the relationship with the University.

Also at the meeting were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shalom Chinedu and the Director, Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Dr. David Omole.
