Chancellor Urges Covenant University Alumni to walk in God’s Plan
Members of the Covenant University Alumni Association have been urged to develop personal relationship with God who is capable of empowering a man for unending progress.
This was the crux of the message by the Chancellor, Dr. David Oyedepo, at the Chancellor’s Special Assembly/Release of 10th Batch of Eagles Ceremony on Saturday, June 27, 2015. “Be willing to do what the scripture says because it is walking in the light of the scripture that guarantee’s progress” he said.
He advised them to embrace commitment and never embark on a journey without a purpose adding that their future is in God’s plan. “Whatever does not stretch you does not bring out the best in you, your future is in God’s plan, don’t scuttle it” he advised.
The Chancellor emphasized the need to walk in God’s plan and, avoid being wandering stars. He enjoined them to build godly and good homes filled with love and peace, where godly children would be raised.
Dr. Oyedepo encouraged them to ignore unnecessary comments about them, which according to him is a great distraction “Don’t share your vision with people who have no vision,” he said.
