Coscharis Technologies Seeks Partnership with CU
The Management of Covenant University on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, welcomed a team from Coscharis Technologies to its auspicious campus in Canaan Land, Ota. The meeting, which held in the Vice Chancellors’ conference room, focused on innovative partnerships between the two organizations.
Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor of Covenant University, Professor Charles Ayo, appreciated the team for their presentation and assured them that the Management would look into their proposal and give them a feedback.
The Vice Chancellor also commended their efforts to bridge the employment gap in the country through the promotion of technological innovations.
In his remarks, the Registrar, Dr. Olumuyiwa Oludayo, advised the Coscharis Technologies team to set up a fund in Covenant University to keep engineering new versions of relevant machines in order to keep up the technological development instead of constantly importing other countries’ products.
While making his remarks at the event, the head of the Coscharis Team, Mr. Emomine S. Mukoro, stated, “We are part of Covenant University; we are sourcing for fund and agitating for the support of the private sector through the National Agency for Science and Engineering (NACENI) and the executive secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND). TETFUND, before now, does not support private universities, but now it is changing its mind. Covenant University believes in what we are doing and that is why we are pushing some of these things.”
Also at the meeting were the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Development Studies, Dr. Chinonye Moses; the Assistant Chief Technical Officer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Engr. C. O. Ajayi and a member of the Directorate of Media and Corporate Affairs.
