Nigeria’s best private university, Covenant University, has not ceased to dictate the pace in the field of research, with the University emerging No. 1 among the top 100 institutions in the world in the field of Aerosols; Atmospheric Aerosols; Aerosols Loading, based on scholarly output.

Four of the first 5 authors in the list of the top 500 authors worldwide on this topic are also from Covenant University.

The result of computations made by Elsevier SciVal, the quick and easy access to the research performance of 8500 research institutions and 220 countries worldwide, showed that Covenant University led the world institutions with 22 scholarly outputs, 477 view count, and 118 citation count.
