Covenant University holds 10th Matriculation Ceremony

 

About 1,807 undergraduate and 70 postgraduate students of Covenant

About 1,807 undergraduate and 70 postgraduate students of Covenant University will take the matriculation covenant on Friday, November 25, 2011 at the University’s 10th Matriculation ceremony.

The Chancellor, Dr. David Oyedepo and other Principal Officers will be on hand to formally admit the students into Covenant University at the event which will take place at the University’s Chapel.

The event will also feature ceremonial signing of the Matriculation register, student performances, praise and worship and declaration of blessings on the matriculating students by the Chancellor.

Covenant University was founded on October 21 2002, and opened its gates to the first batch of about 1, 500 students with the vision to raising a new generation of leaders. The University’s first matriculation held on January 31 2003, for 1,404 students.
