“God’s Grace is My Testimony”, -Pastor Faith Oyedepo on her Birthday

The Covenant University Management Team, led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Charles Ayo (3rd R), Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Taiwo Abioye (3rd Left), heartily felicitate with our Beloved Mother, Regent and Vice President (Education),Living Faith World Wide, Pastor Mrs. Faith Oyedepo (middle), on the occasion of her birthday celebration today, February 5, 2015. Here's wishing you a more fulfilling year in Jesus name. Happy Birthday Ma

Pastor (Mrs.) Faith Oyedepo has said that two things -God’s faithfulness and grace - were the summary of her testimony.

She said this when the Management team of Covenant University, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charles Ayo, visited her on the occasion of her 57th birthday on Thursday, February 5, 2015.

‘Mama’, as she is respectfully and fondly called, quoted two scriptures, Lamentations 3: 22-23, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassion fails not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness” and John 3: 27, “A man can receive nothing except it be given him from heaven”, to support her testimony.

Pastor Faith Oyedepo, who is the Vice President, Education, of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (the Proprietor of Covenant University) added that, “Circumstances of life not withstanding, God is too faithful to fail.”

She appreciated the Management team for their efforts in driving the mandate of the education arm of the Ministry, which she said is at the heart of the proprietor.

While also appreciating members of the Management for taking time to visit, Mama noted that whatever one celebrates, he attracts. She, therefore, prayed for multiplication of God’s faithfulness and grace upon the team.

Earlier in his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor noted that the visit was to identify with Mama and celebrate God’s grace upon her life. He added that the favour of God upon her life had robbed-off on the University.

He also appreciated her for her contributions to the development of the University, particularly in the aspect of discipline. According to him, “One can not train an army of young people without discipline.” The Vice-Chancellor also mentioned that the University community had prayed for her during the Chapel Service earlier in the day.

Other members of the team were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Taiwo Abioye; Registrar, Dr. Olumuyiwa Oludayo; Director, Financial Services, Pastor Deji Okubanjo; Director, Media and Corporate Affairs (M &CA), Dr. Lanre Amodu and members of the M& CA.
