Microsoft Seeks for CU Partnership
Microsoft Nigeria has approached Covenant University for partnership and collaboration for the deployment of management solutions, training and certification. The team from Microsoft, led by the Solution Sales Manager, Mrs. Dharini Suresh, were at the University yesterday, November 19, 2015, and were received in the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room.
During her presentation, Mrs. Suresh expressed her excitement at being able to make a presentation to the Covenant University Management. She stated that Microsoft is committed to helping governments facilitate impactful citizen outcomes through the implementation of solutions that provide exceptional services to citizens in a faster and more cost-effective way.
Mrs. Suresh went on to introduce ‘Microsoft Dynamics AX for Education,’ an educational management system which she said is designed to integrate with other existing systems in any organisation through a number of interfaces. She stated that Microsoft Dynamics AX for Education is a one-stop-shop for all the Educational Management needs of any organisation.
Making a remark after the presentation, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charles Ayo, commended the versatility of the Microsoft Dynamics AX for Education. He assured the team that the University Management would like to partner with Microsoft in a couple of areas, especially in training and certification via Microsoft’s ‘IT Academy.’
The Vice-Chancellor further told the Microsoft team that the Management would like to have a Microsoft presence on the Covenant University Campus.
