Students Urged to Think Unlimited Possibilities in Omega Semester

The Chancellor, Covenant University, Dr. David Oyedepo, has urged the students to think of unlimited possibilities around them and believe God in order to achieve their set goals in the New Year.

The Chancellor, represented by the Chaplain, Covenant University, Pastor Charles Ihekwaba, gave the advise at the opening Assembly for the students on Monday, January 4, 2016 to commence the Omega (Second) Semester of the 2015/2016 Academic Session.

Dr. Oyedepo added that the students should expect the impossible to become possible through the manifestation of God. He stressed the fact that God’s word never return void.

In his words, “What you do not expect, you can never experience. Also, understand that God is not prodigal with words, whatever He means, He will surely do. Think of the unlimited possibilities you will achieve in this Omega Semester and believe God for the best,”

The Vice-Chancellor, Covenant University, Professor Charles Ayo, in his remarks, welcomed the students back on campus and encouraged them to settle down quickly in all areas and get ready for their primary assignment. He urged the students to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of the University for the fulfillment of their glorious destiny.

The university assembly also rendered songs of praise and offer prayer of thanksgiving to appreciate God for the success of the last Semester. It also prayed for a glorious Omega Semester and the New Year.

Also at the event were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Taiwo Abioye; Registrar, Pastor Olamide Olusegun; other Principal Officers, Deans of Colleges, Heads of Departments and Units, Faculty and Staff.
