Dr. Olusanjo Fadiya is an Engineer, a Lecturer and a Researcher. He studied Mechanical Engineering and graduated with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University College London, United Kingdom. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering by the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom in July 2012. He currently lectures at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Covenant University Nigeria teaching courses including Fracture of Engineering Materials, Numerical Methods, Modelling & Simulation in Mechanical Engineering, Programming with MATLAB, Machine Design and Applied Mechanics. Prior to this, Dr. Fadiya was a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton teaching Engineering Mathematics and a Visiting Tutor at South Birmingham College, United Kingdom teaching Structural Design, Structural Mechanics and Structural Analysis. As a Technical Analyst with DeepSea Engineering & Management Ltd. Epsom Surrey, UK, he carried out structural analysis of several subsea facilities including Risers, Flowlines and Umbilical Systems. Dr. Fadiya has conducted research and published extensively in the areas of Logistics Systems, Logistics Technology and Decision Analysis. He is currently focussing his research on Machine Design, Design & Manufacturing Optimization and Machine Dynamics & Control.
