Covenant Enters Top 10 List of Nigerian Institutions by Publication Volume since Inception
It was another good news for Covenant University, as it made the list of top 10 Nigerian institutions by publication volume since its inception. It was also the only private university in that category.
According to Scopus Affiliations result mined over the weekend, Covenant made the top 10 among 173 institutions with 3, 100 publications, a feat described as ‘significant milestone’ by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor AAA. Atayero.
Professor Atayero said, “This is indeed, a significant milestone, considering that the University just turned 16 last month, October 21, 2018.”
It would be recalled that Covenant had been making significant milestones since the beginning of the last quarter of the year 2018. Of particular interest was the breaking of the University into the 601-800 position of the World Ranking of Universities by Times Higher Education.
