An Application of Goal programming Technique to Loan Portfolio Management in the Banking Industry.

Most Banks that fail do so as a result of mismanagement of their loan portfolio . In this paper we examine loan portfolio management of banks. With the result obtained, using a multi objective package, provides an answer on how to handle cases of bad loans or doubtful loans. Bad loan is a major factor militating against optimization of bank goals in Nigeria.
