Summary of Profile

Dr. Adebisi, Abimbola Augustine is a lecturer of Inorganic/ Environmental Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, Covenant University. He obtained a B.Tech(Hons)Industrial Chemistry(Second Class Upper)from Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2005 and M.Sc Environmental Chemistry and Pollution Control in 2009. He bagged his doctoral degree in Chemistry with specialization in Medicinal Inorganic Chemistry from University of KwaZuluNatal, South Africa in 2016. His research interest include the development of novel ruthenium chemotherapeutic agents and synthesis, structural elucidation of metal complexes and their investigation as potential antioxidant or radical scavengers. He is also interested in the field of Environmental Inorganic Chemistry with the aim to understanding the environmental consequences of inorganic compounds associated with human activities.
