Summary of Profile

Professor Ambrose A. Azeta got his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Computer Science from University of Benin, Nigeria from 1989 to 1992 with a second class (hons) upper division. Thereafter, he was admitted to University of Lagos, Nigeria to read Masters in Science (M.Sc) in Computer Science between 1998 and 1999. He has worked as a consultant in so many Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies in Nigeria, among them is Compumetrics Solutions Limited, a technology research company based at Ikoyi Lagos. He joined Covenant University in 2005 and obtained his Ph.D Computer Science. He is currently a Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Covenant University. Professor Azeta is also a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and visiting scholar to University of South Africa (UNISA) Johannesburg South Africa. His current area of research interests are as follows: Artificial Intelligence in Education, e-Learning, Dialogue Systems (Voice-Enabled Systems), Internet/Mobile Computing and Software Engineering. He is a member of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS), and Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN). He has attended and presented papers in conferences. He is married with children.
