He has over thirty years of progressively cognate working experience either as an employee or Information Technology Consultant in bluechip industrial organizations within and outside Nigeria: Mobil Oil Nigeria Ltd (1980-1990), Equitorial Trust Bank (1990-1994), Information Technology Consultant to: Ghana’s Social Security & National Insurance Trust Software Replacement, Accra, Ghana, (1994-1996); Information Technology Consultant [Contract], FAO of the United Nations, Regional Office for Africa, Accra, Ghana ( 06/1997 – 09/1997); Edo State Government of Nigeria’s Ministry of Education (01/1998- 12/1999); Ondo State Government of Nigeria & UNDP (09/2000); and Ekiti State Government of Nigeria’s Ministry of Health (09/2001). He became Lecturer I (Computer Science) at The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria (06/2001 – 09/2005); Lecturer II (Computer Science) (10/2005 - 03/2008); Lecturer I (Computer & Information Sciences) and Researcher (Biomedical Engineering & Medical Informatics)(04/2008 - 07/2014); and Senior Lecturer (Computer & Information Sciences) and Researcher (Biomedical Engineering & Medical Informatics)(08/2014 - present) in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria, respectively.
Research interests are Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Medical Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Biotechnology, Computer Security, Decision Support Systems, Multimedia Database System, and Information Technology Laws. Publications and international conferences presentations include "Medicinal Plants-based Foods for Breast Cancer Treatment: An Ethnobotanical Survey and Digitization", "Framework for Overcoming Barriers of Complementary and Alternative Medicine Acceptance into Conventional Healthcare System", “Multimedia-based Medicinal Plants Sustainability Management System”, “Security in Healthcare Information Systems”, “Impact of Mobile and Wireless Technologies on Healthcare Delivery Services”, “3G and 4G Technologies' Framework for Realising Millennium Development Goals in Healthcare in Nigeria”, and "Clinical Decision Diagnosis Support System for Complementary and Alternative Medicine Practitioners in Lifestyle-related Diseases Management".
PhD Thesis was titled “Development of a Framework for Collaborative Virtual Complementary and Alternative Healthcare Systems”.

He is a Member of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS), Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), IEEE, IEEE Societies (EMBS - Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, Computer Society, and Computational Intelligence Society), Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA), Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research (CCGHR), and ACM. He is serving as an Advisory Board Member for Women in Technology in Nigeria (WITIN.ORG)

Appointed August 1 2015 through July 29, 2016 as the Dean of Student Affairs Department, Covenant University, Ota.
