Summary of Profile

I am a PhD holder with research and teaching responsibilities in the department of Economics and development studies in Covenant University. I possess a B.sc, M.sc and Ph.D degrees in Economics from Covenant University, Ota). My areas of research interest from general to specific are: Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Monetary Economics and International Economics (international trade and international finance). With respect to my research interest, my Ph.D. research was titled: Trade Facilitation and Intra-Regional Trade Performance in ECOWAS. In 2011, I completed a World Bank Institute (WBI) online course on Standards and Trade. I was also a participant in the Summer school program on International Economics and Development Economics in 2011 and 2012 sponsored by the Volkswagen Foundation Germany, facilitated by Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) Germany and hosted by the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER) Ghana. In November, 2015, I completed an UNCTAD training course on Trade and Poverty. I was also part of the four-man team that worked on an UNCTAD localization project on regional integration in West Africa.
I have also taken some online courses facilitated by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Some of them are listed below:
