Tec Quipment (TQ), a leading Engineering Equipment manufacturing company based in United Kingdom has donated a Thermodynamic Laboratory and engineering books to Covenant University.
Making the donation on behalf of the organisation, the Managing Director, Mr. Simon Woods accompanied by the Sales Director, Mr. Mark Smith said they were optimistic that the equipment being donated would not only to be used by students of today but also students of the future.
Mr Wood, who said his organisation has been relating with the University for the past three years as one of the main contractors of engineering equipment, said the donation was one of the company’s ways of contributing to the amazing growth of the University.
“We are truly proud of the University and we are here to ensure that everything work, and by the grace of God, we also want to be here for the next convocation to actually see the Eagles fly”.
While receiving the donations on behalf the University, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Aize Obayan, appreciated the company for the kind gesture and promised that the University through the support of its Board of Regents will continue to invest in quality research and teaching equipments in order to secure the future of our nation through the delivery of quality products and services tailored to meet the needs of industry.
