The Managing Director of the Bank, Mr Jim Ovia, who made this disclosure, recently, said the Management of his bank has approved the construction of an ICT Centre to be equipped with full Internet facilities at the University.

Mr Ovia said the decision to build the centre was in recognition and support of the University’s laudable initiatives and aspirations toward the enhancement of the quality of tertiary education in Nigeria.

Consequently, on March 31, 2007, a 3-man team from the Bank paid a courtesy visit to the University to cement the partnership and also inspected the site for the Centre.
