In her presentation, titled, ‘Building a Career in the Film Industry,’, the Nollywood actress, Uche Montana, delivered a powerful message centered around the significance of determination in achieving success in the movie business and illuminated the formidable challenge of competition for emerging talents, but championed the notion that with unyielding passion and perseverance, greatness is attainable.

Encouraging students to explore the diverse spectrums of roles within the film industry, Montana showcased exemplary figures like Mo Abudu and Bolanle Austen-Peters, whose multifaceted contributions have left an indelible mark on the industry.

The actress imparted practical wisdom to the aspiring filmmakers present, urging them to leverage platforms such as YouTube for exposure, actively participate in auditions to hone their craft, embrace continuous learning and adaptability, and diversify their skill sets for versatility and resilience. She underscored the importance of finding one's niche and staying true to personal passions as keys to unlocking individual paths to success within the industry.
