Covenant University, Canaanland, Ota, will be blazing the trail again on Saturday, January 24, 2009, as its plays host to a world-renown Neurosurgeon, Dr Ben Carson who is visiting Nigeria for the first time.

During the visit, Dr Carson, who in 1987 gained worldwide recognition for his successful separation of Siamese twin joined at the back of the head, will speak to the University's faculty, staff and students on the topic "Taking the Lid Off."

Dr Carson has made presentations in boardrooms, school auditoriums and churches and through this, many destinies globally have been positively influenced. He will also have a special session with the University Alumni where he will be sharing with them the lessons he has learned and the values that have enabled him to overcome obstacles in his personal, professional and spiritual life.

He will be accompanied on the visit by his wife, Candy Carson.
