The Chancellor of Covenant University, Dr David Oyedepo, has charged management, faculty and staff of the University to think the unimaginable in the quest to start proffering answers to myriads of problems besetting humanity.

In recognition of the astute contribution of the faculty-base of Covenant University in elevating the University among elite institutions of learning in the world, the Board of Regents, the apex decision-making body of the University, has approved the promotion of members of faculty for the current academic session.

Christmas came early for the officers and men of the Nigerian Police Force, Onipanu Division, in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Council, when the Management of Covenant University, through her Community Development Impact Initiative Committee (CDIIC), donated a 30KVA power generating set to assist the Division in her quest to serve and protect lives of members of the community.

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Ota Chapter, has sought Covenant University Management's assistance in ensuring that engineering students in the University get enrolled as members during their studentship in the University.

A team from the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) on accreditation visit to Departments of Chemical Engineering and Electrical and Information Engineering, Covenant University, has called for renewed scrutiny of engineering programme curriculum with the goal of repositioning the profession for global relevance.

In a bid to further entrench the core values of possibility mentality and responsibility in her students, Covenant University now has a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Youth Club. The University's Chapter will serve as a converging point for all social-developmental programmes and associations on campus, just like UNESCO collaborates with many NGOs and smaller expert networks to organize programmes and execute projects.

The new leadership of Covenant University Students’ Council have been charged to see their emergence as a call to serve the interest of the entire student populace. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abiodun H. Adebayo, gave the advice when he and other members of the University Management received the new executives on Monday, November 02, 2021.

The distinguished Pro-Chancellor of Covenant University and First Vice President of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Abioye, has stated that everyone desires altitude, which means height, greatness and change of levels; therefore, one must cultivate the right attitudes that secure great altitudes.
