The resourcefulness of Covenant University students, which has always been a reference point for the quality of academic training in the University by employers of labour and professional bodies, has once again attracted the attention of a major player in the engineering field.

The Chancellor of Covenant University, Dr. David Oyedepo, declared a weeklong High Praise Thanksgiving event in the Covenant University Community, following the University’s 20^th Founder’s Day Anniversary, with the theme, ‘Come and see the works of God.’   

The Vice-Chancellor of Covenant University, Professor Abiodun H. Adebayo, has reiterated the importance of research in the priorities of the University’s engagement in the world of knowledge. Professor Adebayo made this known at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Covenant Health Research Ethics Committee Training Workshop on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Covenant University is ranked among the top three (3) universities out of a total of 12 Nigerian universities ranked in the 2023 edition of the World Universities Ranking by Times Higher Education (THE).

An Associate Professor and Director of Student Recruitment at the University of Nottingham, Faculty of Engineering, Dr Mohamed Elmaghrbi, has promised to drive the new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Covenant University and the University of Nottingham to the point of fruition.

The Chancellor of Covenant University, Dr. David Oyedepo, has advised postgraduate students of the University to consistently ask God for guidance at every point in their journey in life. The counsel came during a special session the Chancellor had with graduate school students at the University.

The Vice Chancellor of Covenant University, Professor Abiodun Adebayo, played host to a Team, led by the District Governor of Rotary International, Rotarian Omotunde Lawson, who is in charge of District 9110, which comprises 146 Rotary Clubs in both Lagos and Ogun States.
