Covenant University’s Department of Physics, in collaboration with the Department of Estate Management, has commenced the 7^th International Conference on Science and Sustainable Development (ICSSD), 2023, with the theme, ‘Science as a Catalyst for Sustainable Development in Sub-Saharan Africa.’

In recognition of his leadership contribution which has helped in repositioning education in Nigeria and Africa, the leadership of Arewa Youth Consultative Council (AYCC) has bestowed the Sir Ahmadu Bello Leadership Award of Excellence on the Vice-Chancellor of Covenant University, Professor Abiodun H. Adebayo.

The Department of Economics kicks off its academic town and gown seminar in the Alpha semester with an in-depth knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in addition to their career path. The seminar, titled “Charting a Career Path in an Artificial Intelligence-Driven World,” was presented by an eagle, Mr. Oluwaseun Okikiola, a Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Business Developer.

Covenant University’s distance learning programme to a step closer to take-off when a team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) on a pre-validation assessment visit to the University’s Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CCODeL) applauded the level of work that is in place ahead of getting the nod from the nation’s tertiary education regulatory body.
